this painting has a quote near the bottom that can't be read in this photo...."more than kisses, letters mingle souls." i just thought that was beautiful. so i painted it.
i love red.......especially golden brand paint's "quinacridone" reds. very vibrant. these sets of colors; all the quinacridone's are intense and powerful. my favorite is quinacridone nickel azo gold. another fave is quinacridone magenta.
it takes very powerful competing colors to create anything using these. cheaper brand acrylic paints can't/won't cut it.
this painting is on 36" x 36" canvas, 1 1/2" depth.
it's a stunning piece - it just came down from a show where it won honorable mention.
