yesterday's demo a smaller sized bigass painting

these pics are from part of my demo yesterday at east county art association (ECAA) explaining how i approach a bigass sized painting - only this painting size is more like a small sized bigass painting - this is the "how to"---how to get an image on it to paint on. this is my paintover technique "pimped out".

thank you dixie sampier for taking these photos and pat yeaky. pat is the member who invited me to demo for ECAA in the first place. i loved going - i have been a member for a number of years until last year when i was just too busy traveling to rejoin. but, i'm going to join again because i miss my friends. Such a nice supportive group that always has made me feel at home.

there is going to be a FULL DAY "family paintover" workshop at ECAA next week (thurs. sept. 24 in the rancho san diego public library community room).

the price of the workshop is a steal - since it is nonprofit, i get a flat fee. the attendees are treated to the workshop for a 1/3 of the price. see sidebar for info.

i will post the info on facebook as well as the supply list. absolute beginners are welcome, the class is geared for newbies and oldbies alike. if you ever wanted to learn to paint - this class is for you.

if you aren't on facebook, its free to join. just ask me to be your friend by following the prompts - don't worry i will "friend" you. on facebook i have photo albums of my many techniques "stepped-out" so that you can understand them for free.
if you are uncomfortable getting on facebook, then just email me for the supply list.
