- I'm a contemporary fine visual artist; painting, collage, and mixed media. Although, I am a calamity, my work has been well received around the globe. It has won many impressive awards, shown nationally in solo and group shows, and collected by very awesome people everywhere. i really don't know how my work does it all. My workspace is a bit hazardous and cluttered, but thankfully the police have never been called. and..... fortunately, my family still loves me. i write and on occasion, teach workshops. why the name "pimp my spleen"? (see post june 18, 2007 entitled "why pimp my spleen") and the following post "more on pimped".) at the time of creating this blog, i falsely worried i had an enlarged spleen due to a mis-diagnosis. After a full weekend of demanding my family to not touch me and let me suffer alone, i found out nothing was wrong with my spleen at all. ( sorry, no offense to real enlarged spleen suffers). I have a husband, Gastone, 2 daughters; Brooke and Rosie, a son, Jamie, a doberman, Dempsey and a very pretty kitty-cat named Miss Dior. shop:http://www.facebook.com/l/;pimpmyart.etsy.com
