my current read.......

crazy british authors, gotta love 'em....i love mark haddon...he wrote "the curious incident of the dog in the night-time" - not everyone's favorite, but i thought it was amazingly clever, he wrote a "who-dunit" in the voice of someone who is autistic or something of that nature. And the character has his own style of humor, which begins to affect the reader pretty early on in the book. i thought it was hysterical.......i love books where the reader understands what the character is trying to say by deciphering it. you know, i don't like books that state the obvious.

i have to admit, when i first picked up "a spot of bother" i thought it might be another book by al gore.
but it isn't - its just another bit of british humor that takes you for a ride.

one day, maybe i will have a book of the month club! what? i have had crazier ideas........

I loved this book too, but if you've not read "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" by Haddon, pick it up. It's even better.
