i guess i'm not over painting old quasimodo. such a handsome dude. he even looks kind, doesn't he?
well, i also love shrek so .....i guess i'm no judge of beauty.
its just so fun to paint and it stretches my imagination.
i will be back to painting wintery paris buildings and other paris beauties soon - this is just a short detour. but honestly i think it is hard to think about paris without giving some sort of wonderful tribute to victor hugo. he was such a brilliant man. maybe i will paint something from les miserables tomorrow night.
but for tonight it had to be done - another hunchback painting. why? because it was time....as victor hugo said..."nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come." Victor Hugo French dramatist, novelist, & poet (1802 - 1885)

Thank goodness beauty is so much more than 15 year old models with high cheekbones, super long legs and almost no body fat. I see no reason that Quasimodo and Shrek should not qualify for that designation.
