daily painting....vintage vogue in paris

i saw this image/photo of this girl/woman leaping from the curb to the street and wanted to paint her.  i think it is a vintage picture from vogue.  the area in paris? - hmm, not sure maybe near hotel deville where the is a lot of shopping to be had.  or in the latin quarter near hotel sorbonne.  

by the way, the big sales event in paris - meaning all of paris is having a ginormous sale in every department across town starts january 6.  google it if you don't believe me.

so i am thinking she is headed to her favorite department store on january 6.  she's going to be even lighter after she empties her pocketbook at the sales.

luckily for me.. or i should say luckily for my husband, i am not a big shopper.  

well, unless its art supplies...or books.
