JOIN PAM CARRIKER, RENEE RICHETTS AND MYSELF IN PARIS DEC 29, 30, & 31ST 2010

Date and time: December 29, 30, 31, 2010  9:00-4:30 p.m.
Where: Rue Cyrano de Bergerac 75018 Paris. This is the Montmartre district of
Paris, near Sacred Heart and the Moulin Rouge.
What: 3-days of instruction from Pam Carriker, Lisa Bebi and Renee Richetts.
Each day consists of a morning and an afternoon session, divided by a lunch
break. All 3 instructors attend and teach at all sessions. The maximum
instructor to attendee ratio will be 1:4, so that all attendees can have a lot
of time with each instructor.
General description of session content: Paint-over techniques with acrylics,
portrait painting, mixed-media embellishments, linocut prints from linoleum
blocks, mono printing, mixed media travel journal using simple stitching
approach, mixed-media artist books using metal hinges, combining techniques
learned during the previous sessions.
Cost: $450–includes all necessary materials, supplies and tools. Price also
includes lunch and beverages. A deposit of $225 is required upon registration.
About the location–the area of Paris that we’ve chosen is in the 18th
Arrondismont. Besides the fact that it’s a good, picturesque and safe area with
good metro stops, we chose it because studio apartment rentals in the same area
are very affordable. For example, one week in a studio apartment in the same
Arrondissment is going for about $400/person, dble occupancy. That’s for the
WEEK, not per night.
