happy mother's day weekend

to all of you mothers....and daughters of wonderful mothers - and sons of those wonderful mothers too.  without the sons and daughters, how could we have wonderful mothers?  of course the father plays a big role too - otherwise without him, we would not have the daughters or sons, or even the mothers who were daughters of older fathers..and their mothers as well....oh my god, i think i just fell into the black hole of  motherhood.  it goes on and on like an Ecsher painting.   no beginning and no end.  just mothers and daughters and sons and fathers, round and round.

i love painting in pastel colors - and i love swimming pools - in fact, i think i will go for a swim now.
