2012....

i  have been preoccupied for the whole of 2011.  i  plan to start blogging again at the first of 2012.  i miss posting.  my preoccupation has been looking at colleges for my daughter.

and facing "empty nest" emotions.

Xmas paintover....

i have been hearing from some of my students.  seems christmas parties where you create tags or other pieces using the paintover technique is a popular hit.   anyone can do it and its fun.

minnie helvey from los angeles just sent me a few images from her party.
she said they used halloween hair spray together with martha stewart stencils.   apparently the hair spray dries fast, comes in lots of colors and is easy to use.  she bought her sprays from her local sallys beauty supply store.
